This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and provide support for scalable enterprise software applications, platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, interfaces, reports, and automation solutions.
• Take ownership of the technical implementation for assigned user stories and workstreams.
• Convert business, functional, and technical requirements into designs, implementation tasks, data flows, integration patterns, and acceptance criteria.
• Create production-ready applications, services, data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and automation solutions utilizing Python, SQL, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain APIs, web services, microservices, event-driven solutions, and enterprise integrations.
• Build and deploy containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, Rafay, and AWS container services.
• Assist in DevOps and continuous-delivery practices, which include CI/CD, source control, release coordination, environment management, and deployment validation.
• Create and uphold unit, integration, regression, and automated tests.
• Engage in peer, code, and technical design reviews.
• Monitor the health of applications, integrations, and data pipelines through logging, alerting, and observability tools.
• Resolve production incidents, defects, integration failures, data issues, and performance challenges; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage or assist with application secrets, certificates, authentication, authorization, identity integrations, and security controls.
• Generate technical designs, architecture diagrams, API and integration specifications, deployment procedures, runbooks, and support documentation.
• Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies and activities aimed at continuous improvement.
• Share technical expertise and mentor team members.
• Utilize approved AI-assisted development tools and identify potential opportunities for AI-enabled capabilities.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Information Systems OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years OR Associate’s degree with 6 years OR high school diploma/GED with 8 years.
• Proven experience in developing, integrating, deploying, or supporting enterprise software or data solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud, data, automation, or enterprise application platforms.
• Capability to independently deliver moderately complex technical assignments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, modular development, design patterns, and maintainable application design.
• Experience in developing automation using Python and scripting, workflow automation, or low-code technologies.
• Experience in developing or integrating APIs, web services, microservices, event-driven solutions, or enterprise application interfaces.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, automated builds, deployment, monitoring, logging, and operational support.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitLab for source control and release management.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues, incident responses, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Working knowledge of application security, secrets management, certificates, authentication, authorization, and access controls.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to create technical documentation, designs, diagrams, configuration instructions, and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across global, virtual, and cross-functional teams.
• Preferred experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Docker, Kubernetes, Rafay, AWS, infrastructure automation, AI services, observability, cloud security, and regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environments.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, software development, data engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, Agile, or enterprise platforms are a plus.
