Senior Associate – Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on legal issues pertaining to trust and estate litigation cases

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions, and others

• Manage trust and estate litigation cases from their inception to trial

• Perform depositions, participate in mediations, and engage in settlement negotiations

• Regularly attend probate court hearings

• Make independent judgments and provide advice to clients regarding pre-litigation and litigation matters

• Oversee conservatorship or guardianship cases from start to finish

• Manage probate administrations from initiation until the personal representative is discharged

• Advise trustees or beneficiaries on matters related to trust administration

• Complete other assigned projects

• Proven interest in probate, trust, and estate law

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Aptitude for multitasking and meeting deadlines in a dynamic office environment

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cases and clients independently

• 5+ years of proven experience in probate and trust litigation; or 8–10+ years of experience in civil or family law litigation

• Strong job stability and references are essential
