This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• This position supports the Employee Benefits Division by designing, developing, and delivering educational solutions that empower our key stakeholders to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
• The role reports to the Director of Sales Training for Protection, Retirement, and Employee Benefits, collaborating closely with sales leaders, operations partners, and their teams.
• The ideal candidate will engage in all facets of sales training development, which includes planning, creating, delivering, evaluating, and supporting the programs we provide.
• The preferred candidate will be organized, knowledgeable in employee benefits, a skilled communicator who uses thoughtful and appropriate methods, and capable of articulating advanced sales skills and concepts in a clear and impactful manner, employing adult learning principles and visual communication.
• The Senior Associate Sales Training plays a crucial role in designing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that enhance sales performance and align with enterprise-level initiatives.
• This role merges extensive instructional design expertise with leadership, project management, and collaboration with stakeholders to develop scalable, innovative, and measurable educational solutions.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong skills in planning and execution.
• Capable of learning and utilizing learning technologies.
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest and emerging trends and technologies.
• Familiarity with internal systems used by sales teams.
• Deep understanding of insurance and employee benefit products and sales processes.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
• Proficient in collaborative work and capable of independently achieving results.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a related field such as business administration, human resources, or organizational development); Master’s degree is preferred. Industry certifications (e.g., CPTD/APTD) are advantageous.
• Over 5 years of experience in instructional design and delivery, preferably within the financial services and/or insurance industry.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate).
• Exceptional presentation skills, able to engage audiences with varying levels of experience and seniority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as a skilled communicator.
• Excellent planning, organizing, coordinating, and time management abilities, with a strong focus on detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM and illustration tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and technologies is a plus.
• Experience in adapting presentations "in real-time" to meet audience needs (for instance, adjusting to a shortened training time, a change in location, or technological issues).
