This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and implement daily strategies for chargeback management to prevent financial losses for the bank, merchants, and cardholders. Analyze and recommend strategies to reduce disputes for acquiring merchants.
• Establish, sustain, and enhance operational processes to effectively monitor and maintain financial controls, achieving business objectives aimed at optimizing the profitability of both merchant and issuance sectors.
• Collaborate in business decision-making and partner closely with product and promotions teams to grasp current and future needs, ensuring a well-understood and accepted balance between risk and service.
• Offer guidance in the formulation and upkeep of procedures for product implementation, case approvals, and compliance programs. Monitor the quality performance of financial and chargeback processes, providing analysis and guidance in setting up internal and external agreements.
• Design and implement training programs on card financials and chargebacks for card center staff to enhance their skills. Cultivate effective relationships with member banks and establish service level agreements with both internal and external departments.
• Oversee and enforce compliance requirements from card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, CUP, DINERS, and other regional switches.
• Strong understanding of general banking with substantial experience in credit and debit card post-issuance activities.
• 3-5 years of experience in the cards domain or multi-discipline banking.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong analytical thinking and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, with capabilities in MIS reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with settlement processing is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general banking and experience in credit/debit card post-issuance activities.
• 3-5 years of experience in the cards domain or multi-discipline banking.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), along with strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, with experience in MIS reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of settlement processing is an added advantage.
