Senior Associate – Real-world Data (RWD) Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist Fortrea Consulting in delivering Real-world Evidence services by conducting intricate analyses on data sourced from both prospective and retrospective observational studies, as well as secondary sources.

• Adhere to analytic plans for data presentation under the supervision of RWE biostatisticians and epidemiologists.

• Program analyses of real-world data obtained from observational studies, claims, hospital administration, electronic health records, and registries.

• Create analysis-ready datasets, including the derivation of analytic variables, in accordance with analytic plans.

• Independently generate tables, figures, and listings from analytic datasets.

• Develop validation programs for analysis datasets and TFL results, addressing discrepancies with minimal oversight.

• Create and maintain programming documentation for assigned deliverables.

• Verify written deliverables against analytic results.

• Provide timely status updates to biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and team members.

• Offer analytic programming support for additional data sources as necessary.

• Follow project-related SOPs and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Provide informal mentorship to Associate RWD Analysts.

• Engage in department meetings to share knowledge and insights.

• Uphold Fortrea’s standards of conduct and business ethics.

• Contribute to repeat business through high-quality analyses and deliverables.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or a related field.

• Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience and successful project results in place of formal educational qualifications.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health research data analysis.

• Proficiency in a relevant programming language that aligns with current client needs, such as SAS, R, or Python.

• Expertise in SAS macro language.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Experience in analyzing observational study data.

• Knowledge of CDISC standards, including the ability to write SDTM and ADaM specifications.

• Experience applying CDISC standards to data from observational studies.

• Analytic experience with secondary data sources such as claims, hospital administration, electronic health records, or registries.

• Capability to independently resolve problems.

• Ability to adhere to established processes.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Collaborative team player mentality.

• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.

• Ability to maintain an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours daily.

• Competence in using various computer software.

• Capacity to lift and carry items, including luggage and laptops, weighing up to 15–20 lbs.
