This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Support senior team members in managing account stewardship by overseeing cross-functional projects.
• Facilitate collaboration among subject matter experts, technical personnel, vendors/partners, client teams, and others to ensure effective project operation and delivery.
• Assist in formulating strategic and tactical recommendations for Avalere's clients.
• Oversee both short-term and long-term deliverables.
• Collaborate and integrate work across various practices, becoming a valued resource within the firm and for clients.
• Cultivate and sustain a high level of professional knowledge regarding Avalere’s services and products.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• An advanced degree in public policy, health sciences, health policy, epidemiology/biostatistics, or public health.
• Expertise in healthcare policy.
• Experience in policy analysis and understanding the impacts, challenges, and unintended consequences of legislation and regulation.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative public health research methodologies.
• Skill in analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Capability to effectively condense research findings into PowerPoint presentations.
• A strong commitment to teamwork.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects.
• Problem identification and resolution skills.
• High work ethic and eagerness to acquire new skills.
