This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the prompt execution of grant and sub-award agreements while maintaining project records in the grants management database.
• Coordinate grants management processes alongside Foundation Partnerships relationship managers and UNICEF USA departments.
• Initiate and oversee due diligence and legal review processes.
• Facilitate the recording of pledges and payments, including documentation and fund transfers.
• Collaborate with finance and compliance teams on sub-granting and contracting matters.
• Review and prepare initial budgets for grant proposals and financial reports.
• Manage workflows related to grant agreements, invoices, reimbursements, payment requests, and revisions to grants, projects, and budgets.
• Maintain information regarding partner activations, events, and engagements.
• Conduct research on prospects and analyze the foundation sector landscape.
• Monitor and communicate trends among foundations and partners.
• Contribute to strategies related to themes and prospects.
• Create materials for partner engagement, including presentations, concept notes, one-pagers, and briefing notes.
• Provide scheduling and calendar support for events involving the team.
• Organize meetings for the team and partners.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Maintain and enhance team knowledge information systems.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications, Global Programs, Legal, and Grants Management/Finance teams.
• Act as a liaison to cross-functional teams.
• Train new staff members and offer onboarding assistance.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations, and report on meetings and information-sharing sessions.
• Capture and track data and narrative points related to grant impact.
• Coordinate learning sessions, grant closeout debriefings, and associated meetings.
• Support coordination across decentralized partnership portfolios.
• Identify opportunities to enhance team efficiency, systems, and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree with three to four years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines from various task owners.
• Experience with program finances and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including common functions and formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt as necessary.
