Senior Associate – IT Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance disaster recovery plans along with relevant documentation.

• Review and conduct tests of disaster recovery plans, pinpoint gaps, document findings, and suggest improvements.

• Organize disaster recovery drills, simulations, and associated activities, documenting results and lessons learned.

• Collaborate with IT teams to comprehend system dependencies, crucial business functions, and recovery needs.

• Create and update disaster recovery runbooks, playbooks, and incident-response procedures.

• Support disaster recovery tools, technologies, and activities aligned with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.

• Implement project management practices to further disaster recovery initiatives and customer implementations based on defined customer needs.

• Manage new and evolving external customer connectivity requirements in collaboration with customers and internal technology teams.

• Lead customer engineering discussions and coordinate technical follow-up actions.

• Assist with customer quoting processes and serve as a liaison among customers, sales, engineering, technology teams, and internal business partners.

• Monitor work, requirements, issues, and project activities utilizing Jira and ServiceNow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent, typically requiring 4+ years of relevant experience.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience, including hands-on work in disaster recovery or business continuity.

• Proven experience in applying project management practices to disaster recovery initiatives and customer implementations.

• Demonstrated customer-facing experience in coordinating customer requirements with technical teams.

• Working knowledge of data processing and computer/IT environments.

• Experience in developing, maintaining, or supporting disaster recovery plans and documentation.

• Participation in or coordination of disaster recovery testing, exercises, or simulations is required.

• Proficiency in using Jira and ServiceNow.

• Experience in organizing and tracking multiple project activities, requirements, dependencies, or stakeholder deliverables.
