Senior Associate I, Field Technical Service Engineering – Surgical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Install and set up connected ophthalmic devices and digital applications.

• Assist with network integration, cloud connectivity, and remote monitoring features.

• Collaborate with customer IT teams to guarantee device connectivity and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related challenges.

• Educate customers and field personnel on digital workflows and connected technologies.

• Provide support for product launches, updates, software enhancements, and digital transformation efforts.

• Work together with Field Service Engineers, sales teams, and service leadership to enhance equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

• Promote the adoption of Alcon digital solutions and connectivity initiatives.

• Act as the technical authority for connected devices and digital service offerings.

• Install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot network-enabled ophthalmic instruments.

• Collaborate with clients to ensure secure connectivity, remote support capabilities, and optimal system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.

• Territory coverage includes Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, with additional locations as needed by the business.

• Preferred candidate locations are Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Nashville in Tennessee; Birmingham in Alabama; or Atlanta in Georgia.
