This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide service for Diagnostics Equipment in the Seattle, WA region.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.
• Ensure repairs are delivered promptly and effectively.
• Train operators to guarantee optimal system performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the financial performance of the territory, including revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.
• Manage company resources, which include a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Build and nurture business relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Accurately carry out necessary administrative tasks.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Diagnostics Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Skilled in using tools and service test equipment.
• General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding principles.
• Proficient in essential network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website, and Engineer Tools.
• A valid driver's license with the ability to drive independently both day and night, alongside a good driving record.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capacity to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks such as walking, climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, fine grasping, and manipulation; good vision; ability to work alone.
• Excellent judgment in managing customer relations and company resources.
• Strong competence in mechanics, electrical systems, chemistry, and software technology.
• Experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be capable of working with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
