Senior Associate – Cards Operations Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure a thorough understanding of policies and procedures related to onboarding POS/ECom merchants, guaranteeing compliance during the onboarding process.

• Conduct pre-screening of Merchant Agreements, KYC documents, Trade licenses, MOA, and perform system-related checks, raising exceptions where necessary.

• Verify the completeness and accuracy of documents prior to merchant onboarding.

• Execute all internal accounts, reconciliation, and take corrective actions on a daily basis from the Makers perspective.

• Generate precise and timely monthly and semi-annual vendor invoices for Amex and Diners to recover rental and transaction fees.

• Create deferred commission invoices for gross merchants, ensuring timely and error-free recovery.

• Maintain and update all trackers promptly to monitor pending commissions, payments, and rental recovery.

• Carry out deferred payment reconciliation and payment posting processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Ensure adherence to the Bank’s Compliance and Regulatory procedures.

• Follow daily and monthly tasks assigned diligently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of general banking with substantial experience in the Cards domain.

• Practical experience working with the Prime Platform/Flexcube system.

• Solid knowledge of association systems, including Visa and Mastercard online.

• 1-3 years of experience for the Associate role and 3-5 years for the Senior Associate position, with a background in multi-discipline banking.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in client communication and management.

• Effective people management skills.

• Extensive knowledge of MS Office tools, including MIS reporting and analysis.

• Capability to meet stringent client deliverables.

• Strong decision-making skills and conflict resolution abilities.

• Ability to perform clean processing, relying on effective output.
