
Senior Associate, Business Development – Asia-Pacific

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Conduct research to identify and monitor funding opportunities that align with HOT’s initiatives in Asia.
• Create strategies and materials for engaging donors effectively to foster relationships.
• Oversee the development of concept notes, proposals, and bids.
• Review, edit, and compose the final versions of proposals to ensure they present clear, cohesive, and impactful narratives.
• Maintain a grants calendar and system to effectively manage deadlines and the status of submissions.
• Prepare interim and final reports for funders, ensuring they are accurate and compliant.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience with a proven record of leading successful funding proposals ranging from $250,000 to $1 million.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research abilities with a keen eye for detail and strong narrative skills.
• Knowledge of international development, philanthropy, and current funding trends.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Professional proficiency in a regional language is an advantage.
• Familiarity with database management.
• Experience with NeonOne is a plus.
