This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Formulate and implement a territory strategy by analyzing market dynamics, competitive landscape, and essential customer segments across key markets.
• Develop and enhance distribution partnerships by understanding existing purchasing behaviors, aligning incentives, and creating targeted growth initiatives.
• Stimulate contractor demand by articulating Owens Corning’s value proposition and aligning distributor stocking decisions with customer requirements.
• Attain volume growth while ensuring pricing discipline through effective positioning, customer insights, and value-driven selling techniques.
• Establish and sustain a consistent operational rhythm, which includes proactive customer engagement, pipeline management, and prioritization of high-impact opportunities.
• Utilize cross-functional resources to provide customer solutions, eliminate obstacles, and expedite share growth within the territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by assessing market gaps, competitive whitespace, and underserved customer segments.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with distributor and contractor partners, delivering responsive support and long-term value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and business development to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
• Proven success in managing the complete sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, relationship management, and closing opportunities.
• Experience in developing and executing territory or customer strategies to foster growth.
• Capability to manage multiple customer relationships and priorities in a dynamic, competitive environment.
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve results and align on priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey value to diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a knack for understanding customer needs and formulating suitable solutions.
• Willingness and capability to travel within the assigned territory (approximately 40–50%).
