
Senior Application/System Sales Engineer – OnGuard

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a reliable technical consultant supporting Honeywell's physical security offerings.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Value Added Resellers (VARs), consultants, and end users to discern customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, RFP responses, and technical presentations.
• Assist customers in assessing and selecting solutions that align with their operational and business goals.
• Work jointly with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Technical Support teams to create effective strategies.
• Ensure outstanding customer experiences while enhancing customer relationships.
• Over 5 years of technical experience with LenelS2 OnGuard, NetBox, and/or Elements platforms, including system design, administration, troubleshooting, integration, or technical sales support.
• Proven experience in supporting customer-focused technical sales engagements, demonstrations, and solution presentations.
• Capability to articulate and convey technical concepts to both technical and executive-level audiences.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and fundamental network security.
• Willingness to travel extensively as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Experience in designing, deploying, supporting, or selling enterprise security solutions.
• OnGuard Master Certification preferred; NetBox Certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS applications, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or equivalent cloud certification.
• Security industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, CISSP, CCNA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and their implementation within physical security contexts.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and customer relationship management abilities.
