Senior Application/System Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical sales assistance within the designated region by engaging with Value Added Resellers (VARs), End Users, and A&E consultants, frequently collaborating with a Regional Sales Manager.

• Conduct intricate demonstrations of access control and security products.

• Act as the technical expert for RFP responses and technical specifications.

• Convey highly technical product information through training sessions for customers, end users, prospective clients, and at trade shows, conferences, or other public events.

• Assist and resolve issues related to technical system design, system implementation, system malfunctions, failures, or necessary corrections.

• Set up demonstrations for trade shows.

• Travel requirement of 75%.

• Must be physically capable of carrying 40 lbs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in technical IT/electronic security with proficiency in the LenelS2 OnGuard software product.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–7+ years of relevant experience.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and achieve increasing sales goals.

• Skill in conveying technical information to both technical team members and colleagues who may lack technical knowledge.

• Outstanding verbal communication and customer service abilities.

• OnGuard master certification is preferred (or the ability to obtain it).

• Security/IT experience (MCSA, VMware, MSSQL).

• In-depth knowledge of network services and networks (TCP/IP).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MSSQL, Windows 10, and Windows Server.
