This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as a champion, role model, and advocate for Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand globally and open new offices.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Samsara products.
• Clearly convey to potential clients how businesses similar to theirs utilize Samsara to address industry-specific challenges.
• Produce the necessary work products to facilitate successful deal closures.
• Guide installers through various scenarios.
• Create scripts utilizing our open API that address real-world issues faced by companies providing essential services.
• Function as a bridge between Samsara’s product and sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science from a four-year accredited institution.
• Over 2 years of experience in roles involving customer interaction, such as pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
• Capacity to influence stakeholders through your technical sales expertise and a strong grasp of business processes and change management.
• Proficiency in simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience in managing evaluations of hardware and/or software products.
• Fundamental understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with concepts such as technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation and control systems.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
