This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Create and present product demonstrations and presentations showcasing the technical capabilities of Planet’s platform, as well as our capacity to meet customers' business requirements.
• Develop strong relationships with technical and management teams of customers and partners, positioning yourself as a reliable advisor within their organizations.
• Offer expert guidance on tailored solution proposals or system architectures that address specific business challenges.
• Support the preparation of responses to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and proposals related to product or solution information.
• Collaborate with your sales colleagues to establish account development strategies and implement plans to engage customers and prospects.
• Work alongside internal cross-functional teams, such as Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development, to represent the voice of the customer.
• Achieve the quarterly and annual sales and operational goals set by management.
• Demonstrate self-motivation in learning about new technologies and industries.
• Engage with Pre-Sales Engineers globally, fostering a community to enhance the team's technical expertise and sales proficiency.
• Capable of presenting to key stakeholders in LATAM Civil Government and commercial sectors.
• Serve as a mentor to team members and lead training sessions to promote their development.
• Over 4 years of experience in a customer-facing position supporting LATAM governments or commercial organizations with remote sensing data solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to convert remote sensing and geospatial knowledge into innovative, solution-focused ideas and demonstrations that meet customers' business needs.
• Proficiency in QGIS, ArcGIS, ENVI, GDAL, and other widely-used geospatial software packages.
• Competence in effectively communicating and coordinating with international customers and sales teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
• Capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Proficiency in programming with Python for processing imagery, manipulating vector data, interacting with APIs, and constructing data pipelines.
• Ability to lead customer engagements.
• Experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions with users.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and industries.
