Senior Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Coordinate, prepare, and present product demonstrations and mentoring sessions.

• Create demonstration materials and oversee logistics for remote delivery across various locations.

• Ensure that demonstrations and mentoring sessions adhere to quality and effectiveness standards.

• Manage demonstration environments and associated resources.

• Deliver technically precise presentations customized to client requirements and business goals.

• Keep up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant PTC products and EAC services.

• Enhance product knowledge, demonstration techniques, and industry expertise.

• Refine demonstration materials, processes, and technical learning resources.

• Collaborate with Sales to define demonstration scopes, timelines, and methodologies.

• Advocate for EAC services and PTC products by linking technical capabilities to customer needs and business value.

• Engage in revenue-generating activities for the Technical Sales team and Sales.

• Act as a technical resource and mentor for colleagues.

• Provide feedback and conduct peer reviews of demonstrations, presentations, and mentoring materials.

• Share resources and guidance with colleagues who are learning new content.

• Identify opportunities to enhance team efficiency and disseminate best practices.

• Respond to client requests in a professional manner using established procedures and escalation processes.

• Manage conflicting priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

• Communicate issues, risks, and resource requirements to colleagues or leadership.

• Travel for client on-site demonstrations.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in the United States of America.

• Must comply with Federal Contractor compliance requirements.

• Must be willing to travel for client on-site demonstrations.

• A two-year technical degree is required; a four-year technical degree is preferred.

• Experience in delivering software demonstrations, adult technical education, or technical presentations in a manufacturer, distributor, or similar technical setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with PTC products, especially Creo and Windchill, is preferred.

• Experience with PTC IoT solutions is advantageous.

• Previous experience working with a professional consulting services organization is a plus.

• Hands-on technical consulting, industry-related experience, or technical training involving external client projects is beneficial.

• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential.

• Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• A customer-focused mindset and dedication to client success are vital.

• Capability to establish credibility and foster productive client relationships.

• Strong facilitation skills are required.
