Senior Application Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold Power Platform solutions.

• Create Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps.

• Construct Power Pages.

• Develop Power Automate cloud flows and approval processes.

• Oversee both on-premises and cloud relational database systems (RDBMS), as well as manage Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roles.

• Create Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Convert business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates that align with OTS standards.

• Share knowledge and provide training to in-house developers.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems through connectors and APIs.

• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Enforce role-based security, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environmental strategies.

• Ensure compliance of solutions with Louisiana OTS standards and relevant federal and state regulations.

• Assist with audits, documentation, and technical reviews.

• Evaluate and test new features and capabilities of the Power Platform.

• Aid in the design of conversational AI solutions and virtual agents using Copilot Studio.

• Support knowledge retrieval, case intake, and automation for internal support use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.

• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, on-premises and cloud RDBMS, Dataverse, and Power BI.

• More than 5 years of proven experience in application lifecycle management (ALM).

• Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise in environment strategy, including deployment and troubleshooting across Dev/Test/Prod stages.

• More than 5 years of solid understanding of security and role-based access control.

• Over 5 years of experience with SQL queries.

• More than 5 years of experience in gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects within a shared-services environment.

• Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms is a plus but not required.

• Experience in governmental, public sector, or regulated environments is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server is advantageous but not essential.

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Azure services, such as Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management, is advantageous but not required.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for the Power Platform is a plus but not essential.

• Microsoft certifications, such as Power Platform Developer or Solution Architect, are advantageous but not essential.
