Senior Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Coordinate, prepare, and execute product demonstrations along with mentoring sessions.

• Create demonstration materials and oversee logistics for remote delivery across various geographic areas.

• Ensure that demonstrations and mentoring sessions adhere to established quality and effectiveness standards.

• Manage demonstration environments and the resources that support them.

• Deliver technically precise presentations customized to the needs of clients, their experience levels, and business goals.

• Keep up-to-date with the technical knowledge of relevant PTC products and EAC services.

• Achieve necessary technical certifications within specified timeframes and attempt limits.

• Develop expertise in product knowledge, demonstration techniques, and industry insights.

• Enhance demonstration materials, processes, and technical learning resources.

• Collaborate with the Sales team on the scope, schedules, and methodologies for demonstrations.

• Advocate for EAC services and PTC products by linking technical capabilities to customer challenges and business value.

• Contribute to revenue-generating initiatives for both Technical Sales and Sales.

• Maintain regular communication with Sales team members and senior colleagues.

• Mentor peers and provide constructive feedback on demonstrations, presentations, and mentoring resources.

• Share resources and guidance with colleagues learning new content.

• Identify opportunities to enhance team effectiveness and communicate best practices.

• Address client requests professionally by utilizing established procedures and escalation processes.

• Balance competing priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

• Communicate issues, risks, and resource needs effectively to colleagues or leadership.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in the United States of America.

• Must comply with Federal Contractor requirements.

• Must be willing to travel for client On-Site demonstrations.

• A two-year technical degree is required.

• A four-year technical degree is preferred.

• Experience in delivering software demonstrations, adult technical education, or technical presentations in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar technical environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with PTC products, particularly Creo and Windchill, is preferred.

• Experience with PTC IoT solutions is an advantage.

• Background in working with a professional consulting services organization is a plus.

• Hands-on technical consulting, industry-related experience, or technical training involving external client projects is a plus.

• Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

• Customer-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to client success.
