Senior Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, prepare, and conduct product demonstrations and mentoring sessions.

• Create demonstration materials and coordinate logistics for remote presentations across various locations.

• Ensure that all demonstrations and mentoring sessions adhere to quality and effectiveness standards.

• Manage demonstration environments and necessary supporting resources.

• Deliver clear, engaging, and technically accurate presentations customized to meet client needs and objectives.

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant PTC products and EAC services.

• Achieve required technical certifications within designated timeframes and attempt limits.

• Expand product knowledge, demonstration skills, and industry insights.

• Enhance demonstration materials, processes, and technical learning resources.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to formulate demonstration scopes, schedules, and strategies.

• Advocate for EAC services and PTC products by aligning technical capabilities with customer challenges and business value.

• Contribute to revenue-generating efforts for the Technical Sales team and overall Sales initiatives.

• Maintain regular communication with Sales team members and senior colleagues.

• Mentor peers and provide constructive feedback on demonstrations, presentations, and mentoring materials.

• Share resources, guidance, best practices, and effective educational approaches for clients.

• Address client inquiries following established procedures and escalation protocols.

• Manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate issues, risks, and resource requirements.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in the United States of America.

• Must comply with Federal Contractor requirements.

• Must be willing to travel for client on-site demonstrations.

• A two-year technical degree is required; a four-year technical degree is preferred.

• Preferred experience in delivering software demonstrations, adult technical education, or technical presentations in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar technical environment.

• Preferred experience with PTC products, particularly Creo and Windchill.

• Experience with PTC IoT solutions is an advantage.

• Previous work with a professional consulting services organization is a plus.

• Hands-on technical consulting, industry-related experience, or technical training involving external client projects is beneficial.

• Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences clearly.
