Senior Application and Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications.

• Implement new features and system integrations.

• Create reusable and interoperable software components.

• Engage in architectural discussions and conduct code reviews.

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

• Generate and sustain technical documentation.

• Guide junior developers and contribute to the establishment of technical best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to software development.

• Profound experience in modern software engineering methodologies.

• Proven experience in Agile development teams.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Java.

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.

• Familiarity with Kafka.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in Git/GitHub.

• Knowledge of Docker.

• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in JUnit.

• Experience with SonarQube.

• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle.
