Senior Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and configure business systems, implementing upgrades and enhancements for assigned technology platforms.

• Act as the main support contact for application end-users, addressing and resolving application-related issues.

• Assess the impact of proposed changes, develop and test system modifications, and pinpoint areas for platform performance improvement.

• Mentor junior analysts, answer inquiries, and assign tasks to other analysts.

• Lead the estimation process for enhancement and support requests.

• Oversee workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical challenges.

• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Identify opportunities to enhance business workflows through technological advancements.

• Participate in training sessions and engage with end users.

• Diagnose and resolve problems and inquiries.

• Provide support to end-users for tracked issues.

• Review project and issue statuses with project leadership.

• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other responsibilities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.

• Serve as a substitute for the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolution.

• Spearhead internal process design and documentation aimed at continuous IT improvement.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.

• Adhere to and support the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Promote and uphold the company's mission and values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Proven ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.

• Preferred applicable certifications, particularly Epic Prelude, Epic Identity, and Epic Eligibility (RTE).

• Professional working knowledge in Healthcare or Biotechnology is preferred.

• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies is preferred.

• Must be able to work regular business hours and be on-call, with potential night and weekend responsibilities.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of working time.

• Capability to operate a telephone system, computer keyboard, and printer.

• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for around 5% of a typical working day.

• Proficiency in front of a computer screen and/or typing for about 90% of a standard working day.

• Compliance with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and complex matrix environment.

• Capacity to learn new software applications and adapt to changes effectively.
