Senior Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design and configuration of business systems, including upgrades and enhancements for designated technology platforms.

• Act as the primary support contact for application users, addressing and resolving application and cross-team challenges.

• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes, implement and test system modifications, and identify opportunities to enhance platform performance and workflow.

• Mentor junior analysts, address inquiries, and assign tasks to fellow analysts.

• Lead the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.

• Oversee workflow design, configure and test system modifications, and analyze technical issues.

• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Gain insight into operational requirements and enhance business workflows through technology.

• Participate in training sessions and engage with end users.

• Troubleshoot inquiries and provide end-user support via tracking systems.

• Review project updates and issue status with project leadership.

• Assign or delegate configuration and related tasks to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.

• Serve as a delegate for the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolution.

• Offer mentorship and leadership to address issues beyond standard responsibilities.

• Spearhead internal process design and documentation to foster continuous IT improvement.

• Collaborate within a cross-functional team, communicating effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.

• Adhere to and support the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• 5+ years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas, including patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be capable of obtaining relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

• Proven ability to perform the Essential Duties with or without accommodation.

• Willingness to work normal business hours and be on-call, with the possibility of nights and weekends.

• Ability to travel approximately 5% of the working time.

• Proficiency in operating a telephone system, computer keyboard, and printer.

• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical working day.

• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or type for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

• Must comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.

• Preferred: relevant certifications, particularly Epic Prelude, Epic Identity, and Epic Eligibility (RTE).

• Preferred: professional working knowledge in Health Care or Biotechnology.

• Preferred: professional working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
