Senior Appian Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the scrum team to evaluate user stories and create test scripts utilizing the Cucumber format (Gherkin language)

• Update the regression testing suite by revising test cases to incorporate newly added features

• Engage in backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions

• Work alongside the project team to pinpoint risks and their potential impacts on the system

• Conduct automated, exploratory, API, and regression testing on web applications

• Collaborate with developers to carry out root-cause analysis and initial problem diagnosis

• Execute test cases and identify, as well as track, defects with detailed reproduction steps

• Partner with developers, business analysts, and testers to uphold application quality

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in both manual and automation testing

• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in front-end, regression, and performance testing for web services and applications

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required due to federal contract stipulations

• Eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance is mandatory

• Must reside in the United States and conduct work within the country

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Jira is preferred

• Experience with the Appian Platform is a plus
