Senior Appian Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the scrum team to assess user stories and create test scripts utilizing the Cucumber format (Gherkin language).

• Manage the regression testing suite by revising test cases for newly introduced functionalities.

• Engage in backlog grooming and participate in sprint planning sessions.

• Recognize risks and impacts to the system alongside the project team.

• Conduct automated, exploratory, API, and regression testing on web applications.

• Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnoses.

• Execute test cases while identifying and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps.

• Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and testers to ensure the quality of the application.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in manual and automation testing implementations.

• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in front-end, regression, and performance testing for web services and applications.

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required due to federal contract stipulations.

• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is essential.

• Must reside in the United States and perform work there.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities are necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail is required.

• Preferred tools and technologies include Selenium, Cucumber, and Jira.

• Experience with the Appian Platform is a plus.
