This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Appian.
• Translate intricate business needs into functional application components.
• Utilize Appian for automating and enhancing business workflows.
• Collaborate with clients to comprehend requirements and deliver Appian solutions.
• Create and execute complex business processes through Appian.
• Construct, test, launch, and uphold intelligent automation solutions.
• Engage with cross-functional teams for collaborative efforts.
• Apply Appian development and integration best practices.
• Develop and sustain Appian plug-ins and interfaces.
• Assist with the creation of technical documentation and user manuals.
• Take part in code review sessions.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the platform's thought leadership, new accelerators, concepts, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on new Appian product features and technical capabilities.
• Enhance workflows, procedures, and information technology solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; approved adjudication is required before onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of professional experience, with a minimum of three years in Appian development.
• Active Appian Senior Developer certifications and capability to acquire additional relevant certifications upon hire.
• In-depth knowledge of the Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, and web services.
• Strong understanding of Appian development best practices.
• Knowledge and expertise in relational database architecture, management, and scripting.
• Capacity to design business processes and integrate them across various systems.
• Solid understanding of Java and web technologies.
• Must be available to work during Eastern Standard Hours.
