Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types to align with PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Create Appian Web APIs for immediate PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication among systems.

• Contribute to intricate process automation solutions linking Appian and PeopleSoft ERP.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL experience preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Required to possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capability to acquire and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Ability to collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on secure, high-quality solutions.
