Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services

• Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types that map to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates

• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and event notifications from PeopleSoft

• Build SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems

• Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication between different systems

• Contribute to intricate process automation solutions that connect Appian and PeopleSoft ERP

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher

• Advanced SQL capabilities; PL/SQL is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• U.S. citizenship is required

• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory

• Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces

• Experience collaborating with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment

• Ability to work securely while delivering high-quality solutions

• Must reside in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, or NJ

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
