Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects.

• Connect Appian with enterprise systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data transfer.

• Implement secure system connections using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• Advanced knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• At least a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification) is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric.

• Familiarity with Java or JavaScript for creating custom plugins.

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Capability to collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
