Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop intricate process automation solutions that connect Appian with PeopleSoft ERP.

• Establish an agility layer that enables users to engage with PeopleSoft data and workflows via Appian interfaces.

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects for PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types aligned with PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Create comprehensive process models for employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Develop Appian Web APIs for real-time updates of PeopleSoft data and event notifications.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement secure system authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Advanced SQL proficiency; PL/SQL is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Ability to acquire and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE Certification or a comparable DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or an Agile/DevOps environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
