Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that correspond to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and event notifications from PeopleSoft.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement secure system authentication methods using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Contribute to intricate process automation solutions that integrate Appian and PeopleSoft ERP.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams and engage in Agile/DevOps or Center of Excellence environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Strong SQL skills; PL/SQL is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• A Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance is necessary.

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Experience collaborating with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
