Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to leverage PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that correspond to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions, including employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and event notifications from PeopleSoft.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement secure system interactions utilizing OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Establish a seamless agility layer that connects Appian interfaces with PeopleSoft data and workflows.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to outline service requirements.

• Deliver secure, high-quality solutions for process automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient in SQL, with PL/SQL experience preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML formats.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
