Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Create SAIL forms and dashboards that aggregate data from various systems.

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business operations, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Create Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data interchange.

• Implement secure handshakes utilizing OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to outline service requirements.

• Contribute within an IT team and support the entire software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• Expert understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
