Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop intricate process automation solutions that integrate Appian with PeopleSoft ERP.

• Establish an agility layer that allows users to engage with PeopleSoft data and workflows via Appian interfaces.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects for PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types that correspond to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Create comprehensive process models for employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Develop Appian Web APIs to facilitate real-time updates of PeopleSoft data and event notifications.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Enhance Oracle database queries for improved performance.

• Work in collaboration with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Deliver secure and high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Proficient SQL skills; PL/SQL experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or a comparable DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
