Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Develop Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that align with PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Create comprehensive process models that activate PeopleSoft actions, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Construct Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and event notifications from PeopleSoft.

• Develop SAIL forms and dashboards that compile data from various systems.

• Implement secure system authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Engage in intricate process automation solutions that connect Appian with PeopleSoft ERP.

• Work together with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient in SQL; PL/SQL experience is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
