Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types

• Develop comprehensive process models for business operations, approvals, notifications, and case management

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects utilizing REST/SOAP APIs

• Create Appian integrations and Web APIs to facilitate secure data exchange

• Implement secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based methods

• Contribute to the design, development, and execution of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions

• Collaborate with technical teams associated with enterprise systems and PeopleSoft as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or newer

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• U.S. Citizenship is required

• A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer is highly preferred

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred

• Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment

• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on delivering secure, high-quality solutions

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
