Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types

• Develop comprehensive process models for business operations, approvals, notifications, and case management

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects

• Facilitate the integration of Appian with enterprise systems through REST/SOAP APIs

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data transfer

• Implement secure authentication protocols using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based methods

• Contribute to the development of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions

• Engage in application architecture, security, integrations, and the complete software development lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later

• Proficient SQL skills, encompassing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is strongly preferred

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting is preferred

• Candidates must reside in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, or NJ

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
