Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Appian Connected Systems alongside Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types that map to the schemas of the PeopleSoft Oracle database.

• Create comprehensive end-to-end process models that initiate actions in PeopleSoft, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Develop Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and event notifications from PeopleSoft.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that aggregate information from various systems.

• Implement robust system authentication methods utilizing OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Connect Appian’s low-code platform with PeopleSoft ERP by establishing a seamless agility layer.

• Work collaboratively with PeopleSoft technical teams to outline service requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or newer.

• Proficient in SQL, with PL/SQL knowledge preferred.

• In-depth understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Familiarity with Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence or Agile/DevOps setting is desirable.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected.
