Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Develop Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that correspond to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Create comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Establish Appian Web APIs for immediate PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that compile data from various systems.

• Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Develop an agility layer that connects Appian with PeopleSoft ERP workflows and data.

• Work collaboratively with PeopleSoft technical teams to outline service requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or newer.

• Proficient in SQL, with PL/SQL knowledge preferred.

• In-depth understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is beneficial.

• Experience collaborating with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Background in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
