Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Create architectural frameworks for Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that align with PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Construct Appian Web APIs for immediate PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications.

• Develop SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Implement secure system integrations using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Design and execute process automation solutions connecting Appian and PeopleSoft ERP.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements.

• Deliver secure, high-quality solutions in Agile/DevOps or Center of Excellence environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient in SQL, with a preference for PL/SQL experience.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Required to hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is desirable.

• Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
