Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and oversee Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Configure and design Connected Systems and Integration Objects.

• Integrate Appian with enterprise systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs to ensure secure data exchange.

• Implement robust system authentication methods using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams from enterprise systems and PeopleSoft as necessary.

• Operate throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Proficient in SQL, including advanced queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance optimization, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Java or JavaScript skills for custom plugin development are preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
