Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services

• Create Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that correspond to PeopleSoft Oracle database architectures

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates

• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time updates and notifications of PeopleSoft data

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems

• Implement secure system communications using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication

• Contribute to intricate process automation solutions that integrate Appian with PeopleSoft ERP

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements

• Create custom plugins when existing connectors do not meet needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or newer

• Proficient SQL skills; PL/SQL is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• U.S. Citizenship is required

• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory

• Security+ CE Certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
