Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Develop and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Construct comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects for REST/SOAP integrations.

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data transfer.

• Implement secure system authentication methods, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Collaborate with enterprise systems and technical teams, including those in PeopleSoft environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient in SQL with advanced skills in complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must have at least a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or within an Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Must demonstrate attention to detail with a strong emphasis on delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
