Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and oversee Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Create comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects.

• Integrate Appian with enterprise systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Build Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data transmission.

• Implement secure authentication methods, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements.

• Deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, encompassing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• Deep understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capacity to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
