Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services

• Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types that map to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas

• Develop comprehensive process models that initiate PeopleSoft actions, such as onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates

• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time updates and event notifications related to PeopleSoft data

• Build SAIL forms and dashboards that aggregate data from various systems

• Implement secure system authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication

• Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to establish service requirements

• Contribute to secure and high-quality process automation solutions that connect Appian and PeopleSoft

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or later

• Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL experience is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML

• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Required to hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance

• Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is mandatory

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred

• Background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces

• Experience in a Center of Excellence or Agile/DevOps environment is beneficial

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
