Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and manage Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models to automate business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Create Appian integrations and Web APIs to ensure secure data interchange.

• Implement secure system interactions through OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Contribute to the architecture, development, and deployment of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance optimization, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Minimum requirement of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to acquire and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification (or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification) is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is advantageous.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or an Agile/DevOps environment is a plus.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
