Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and oversee Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Develop comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects.

• Create Appian integrations and Web APIs to ensure secure data transfer.

• Implement secure authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with enterprise systems and technical teams, including PeopleSoft teams, to establish service requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or newer.

• Proficient in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Minimum Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Experience with Appian application architecture, security, integrations, and the complete software development lifecycle.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer certification is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Appian Data Fabric is advantageous.

• Background in Java or JavaScript for developing custom plugins.

• Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is beneficial.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
