Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.

• Architect Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types in alignment with PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas.

• Create comprehensive process models that activate PeopleSoft actions like employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.

• Develop Appian Web APIs for immediate PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications.

• Construct SAIL forms and dashboards that compile data from various systems.

• Implement secure system authentication methods utilizing OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

• Connect Appian’s low-code platform with PeopleSoft ERP through a fluid agility layer.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Advanced skills in SQL; PL/SQL is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• Certification as an Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer is mandatory.

• Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification is required.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• A background in Java or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is important.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on delivering secure, high-quality solutions.
