Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems.

• Design and oversee Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types.

• Construct comprehensive process models for business workflows, approvals, notifications, and case management.

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.

• Develop Appian integrations and Web APIs to facilitate secure data exchanges.

• Implement secure system interactions using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication methods.

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

• Collaborate with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft ERP or Oracle.

• Participate in a dynamic IT team and engage throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or later.

• Proficient in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.

• In-depth understanding of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Must have a minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.

• Security+ CE Certification (or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification) is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a comparable field of experience.

• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer is highly preferred.

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric is preferred.

• Background in Java or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces is preferred.

• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps setting is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
